NEW Arla Food for Health research strategy

 

ARLA FOOD FOR HEALTH 2020 FUNDING DECISION
We received 10 applications for funding in Arla Food for Health in 2020. All 10 applications were scored above good by the external Scientific Advisory Board. The Arla Food for Health Steering Committee decided to fund Special Milk Lipids for Improving Metabolic Health (SMiL) lead by Maximillian Kleinert with 5.2 mill DKK.

Two Principal Investigators were asked to resubmit their applications to compete for the remaining 4.8 mill DKK because the Arla Food for Health Steering Committee assessed the projects as of high potential. Unfortunately, the Arla Food for Health Steering Committee decided not to fund neither of the two re-submitted projects. One project was still too close to an already ongoing study from which they had been asked to differentiate and the other project did not come up with a project plan securing sufficient power to test the hypothesis. The 4.8 mill DKK will be transferred for future funding.

 

ARLA FOOD FOR HEALTH CALL 2021
The Arla Food for Health call 2021 will be published on May 5th this year and we have arranged an online meeting where we will present the call and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the call content and formal practicalities. Submission of optional one-page research proposal: June 7th, 2021

Feedback on optional one-page research proposal: June 15th, 2021

Submission of application: October 18th, 2021

 

ARLA FOOD FOR HEALTH CONFERENCE 2021
The 2021 conference is planned for September 29th. Hopefully the Covid19 vaccination has been rolled out in society and we will be able to meet face to face at Arla and have the benefit of networking. We will keep you posted when we get closer to the date.
